In accordance with the statutes of the Digital Humanities in the Nordic and Baltic Countries (DHNB) association, elections to the DHNB Board would be conducted by remote electronic vote in the period 16 February – 1 March 2026.

Invitations for nominations for the board membership were sent out by the Nomination Committee earlier this year.

In this election cycle, three of the nine board seats were up for election, each for a three-year term. All three board members whose terms were ending were eligible to be re-elected, and all three reapplied.

There were no other candidates nominated.

As a result, elections were not carried out. Instead, the three seats up for election were filled by the three board members who had reapplied.

On behalf of DHNB, we welcome our current board members, Matti La Mela, Ernesta Kazakenaite, and Mari Väina, to a new three-year term on the DHNB board.
